OUR STORY
Worku started realising his dream when he opened his first small store in downtown Joburg in 2009. From humble beginnings, he started by making designs, tailoring to fashion clothing and alterations developed by understanding his client’s desires translating them to designs and custom fashion wear adding his flavour. It was very difficult but the desire to see happy faces satisfied with quality clothing overcame His circumstances inspiring him and gave him purpose to serve his valued clients to his best. This has developed into a creative passionate team of 15 designers, tailors and tellers. Since our beginning in 2009 our goal has always been to create men’s Suit’s, quality traditional Ethiopian and African clothing that looks great, fits perfectly, made from the world’s best fabric mills, with a wide range of premium fabrics across multiple seasons, styles, and price points that is good value for money. Years of excellence in the business, Workshet Design has been offering a unique, interactive experience in which its clients play a role in the designing process by collaborating with the designers and tailor’s.
Over the years we have also added some of the world’s most desirable accessories to our range including Shirts, Socks, Ties, Shoes, Underpants, Suspenders and Belts.
